Drive to Lake Maseres for Fly-ins or to stay in one of the cabins there.
     Lake Maseres is located 12 hours north of Buffalo, N.Y. and 9 hours north of the 1000 Island Bridge. Approx. 100 miles N.E. of Senneterre, Quebec and about 50 miles West of the Gouin Reservoir. Go by gravel road through one of the most wilderness areas in the province of Quebec.
     This lake is approximately 14 miles overall in length with the Macho River connecting larger bays with sheltered waters, rock ledges, shoals, sand bars, and weed beds. This is an ideal home for Walleye and Great Northern Pike. Trophies of both species are caught regularly.

Drive to Maseres Lake for excellent fishing.
     Fed by the Macho River, Maseres Lake is 100 miles north east of Senneterre, Quebec & approximately 50 miles west of Gouin Reservoir, accessible by large logging roads (excellent gravel road) except the last 8 miles (slower).
     This lake is approximately 14mi. long & lays North and South. Fishing is superb (Northern Pike & Walleye) with trophies of both species being caught in the last season. This is due to the remoteness & lack of fishing pressure.
     It is normal for a party of 4 men to catch all the Walleye they want in a week and a lot of Pike.
